Hurkit Charity Foundation

Full-cycle design — from concept and architecture to visual identity, UI kit, and responsive interface.

About the project

Hurkit is a charity foundation that supports community initiatives and humanitarian aid.
The foundation needed a modern and intuitive website that communicates trust, transparency, and the organization’s core values — while making it easy for people to join, donate, or participate in events.

Goals

  • Create a clean and functional website that inspires confidence.

  • Communicate openness and transparency through design and structure.

  • Allow users to explore the foundation’s activities, check donation progress, and easily contribute or get involved.

Target audience

  • People looking for opportunities to volunteer or donate.

  • Potential donors and partners.

  • Those who want to learn more about the foundation’s work before supporting it.

My role & approach

I collaborated closely with a marketing strategist responsible for market research and content structure.
My role covered UX/UI design, visual direction, and website development.

Visually, I built on the existing brand identity, focusing on simplicity, lightness, and trust.
The design uses a bright color palette, generous white space, and clear typography to convey calmness and reliability.

I also developed a basic design system for future scalability — allowing new pages and features to be added easily.

Challenge

People often miss out on local experiences because event information is scattered across multiple platforms. The goal was to create an intuitive mobile experience that unites all events in one place — from concerts and exhibitions to workshops and social meetups — while keeping it visually engaging and easy to navigate.Users can easily discover what’s happening nearby, join local communities, and make every day a little more spontaneous and colorful.

Process

I started with user research to understand how people currently discover local events and what barriers they face. Based on insights, I defined personas, user flows, and an app structure focused on simplicity and discovery.
The interface was designed to feel dynamic yet minimal, with bright accents and clean navigation that make exploration intuitive and fun.

Result

A vibrant, easy-to-use app that turns everyday life into a series of discoveries — helping users connect with their city and community in a more meaningful way.

Key challenges & solutions

One of the core challenges was implementing a system for events and fundraising campaigns with real-time status updates (active, completed).
Another key focus was creating donation and subscription forms that make supporting the foundation feel effortless and transparent.

UI kit

To maintain design consistency and scalability, I created a foundational UI kit including:

  • Typography system

  • Color palette

  • Interface components

Result

The result is a clear, trustworthy, and functional website that reflects the foundation’s values and mission — helping people not only learn about Hurkit but also become part of its impact.
